The number 1 ranking will fall to Novak Djokovic but Rafael Nadal will still get to play one more match being the top ranked player in the tennis world. This game will be in the Wimbledon final against the man who is going to replace him, who is none other than Novak Djokovic.
The defending champion reached his fifth final at the All England Club on Friday after he downed Andy Murray with scores, 5-7, 6-2, 6-2, 6-4. Although this being the case, Nadal will no longer be able to hold onto his No. 1 ranking.
Nadal will instead fall down giving way to Novak Djokovic taking the top spot for the first time on Monday.
